With the school year quickly coming to a close, parents everywhere are planning their summer activities and most importantly, how to keep their kids happy and occupied! There are some wonderful resources for summer camp options around Northwest Arkansas in this post. We will highlight a few of them this week too!

If you think you may have a little rock star on your hand, The School of Rock in Bentonville may be just the place for them this summer. They have a team of talented instructors, tons of instruments, and all the necessary programming in place to get your kid jamming out. Their performance-based approach helps kids quickly achieve success in a team environment. This camp provides so much learning while always having tons of fun too!

Is your child an artist in need of more creative outlets? The Community Creative Center in Fayetteville is providing art classes this summer. The CCC is a nonprofit who has been conducting art camps since 2008. They offer a wide variety of experiences including pottery, watercolor, acrylics, drawing, mosaic and mixed media arts classes for youth of all ages and skill levels. For more information about the sessions available for your little Picasso, visit their website.

When we think of summer camps, the traditional outdoor revelry comes to mind first. Enter Camp Wilson in Fayetteville! With two sessions available: one from July 31st – August 4th and a second from August 7th – 11th, campers will enjoy a variety of sports, games, and activities. Kids will play classics like kickball, volleyball and four square while also doing some swimming and even dancing! Camp Wilson is held at Wilson Park, located at 675 N. Park Avenue.

We hope these ideas will help spark your family’s plans for the best summer ever! Remember Summit Property Management cares about our residents and we strive to be a great resource for Northwest Arkansas year round!
